UNRanked Sports ("UNRanked," "we," "us," or "our") operates the UNRanked Sports website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Account and profile information: When you register, we collect information such as your name, email address, password (stored in hashed form), account type (athlete or scout), and profile details you choose to provide (for example sport, position, bio, stats, photos, videos, and social links).

Communications: If you use messaging on the platform, we process message content and related metadata (such as timestamps and participants) to deliver and secure conversations.

Usage and device information: We collect information about how you use the Services, such as pages or screens viewed, search and filter activity, watchlist actions, and in-app events we log for product analytics (for example profile views where enabled by your plan). We may also collect device type, operating system, app version, and push notification tokens when you enable notifications on mobile.

Payment information: Paid memberships may be processed by third parties. On the web, checkout is handled by Stripe; in our mobile apps, purchases may be processed by Apple, Google, and/or RevenueCat. We receive subscription status and transaction identifiers—not your full payment card number—from those providers.

Information you send us: If you contact us through forms or email, we collect the content of your message and contact details you provide.

Cookies and similar technologies: On the website, we use cookies and local storage as needed to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and operate core features.

We use information to provide, maintain, and improve the Services; authenticate users; display athlete and scout profiles; power discover search and watchlists; deliver messages and notifications you request; process subscriptions; prevent fraud and abuse; comply with law; and communicate with you about your account or the Services.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information for analytics and product development.

Other users: Depending on your privacy settings and account type, profile information may be visible to other users, scouts, or the public (for example when your profile is public or appears in search). Messages are shared with conversation participants.

Service providers: We use trusted vendors to host data, authenticate users, send email, store media, process payments, deliver push notifications, and operate infrastructure. These providers process data on our instructions and under appropriate agreements.

Legal and safety: We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of UNRanked, our users, or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice where required).

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not share personal information with third parties for their independent advertising based on your activity across unrelated sites.

Profile and privacy controls: In Settings, you can control options such as public profile visibility, appearance in search, display of statistics, and whether others can message you. Changes apply to your UNRanked account across supported platforms where those settings are available.

Notifications: You can manage push and email notification preferences in the app or website settings, and through your device settings for push.

Marketing: If we send promotional email, you may opt out using the unsubscribe link in those messages.

Access, correction, and deletion: You can update much of your profile in the app or on the website. You may request account deletion from Account & security settings (or by contacting us). Deletion is subject to legal retention requirements and backup cycles.

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Services are intended for athletes, families, and scouting professionals. If you are under 13 (or the minimum age in your region), you may use the Services only with verifiable parental or guardian consent where required by law. If you believe we collected information from a child without appropriate consent, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

UNRanked is based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where we or our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your country.

The Services may link to third-party websites or services (for example social networks or payment pages). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Our primary infrastructure providers include Supabase (database, authentication, and storage), Stripe (web payments), and RevenueCat (mobile subscription management), in addition to platform stores such as Google Play and the Apple App Store.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Services or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
